My Story
Welcome to my personal website! My name is Santiago Molina Orozco, and I am a senior journalism student at the University of Central Florida. I am originally from El Cerrito, Valle Del Cauca, Colombia.
I started my journalism journey at Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. Here, I acquired writing, photography, video, and audio editing skills. Since moving to the United States in 2021, I have been passionately pursuing my dream of becoming a sports journalist.
In Colombia, I was able to cover the 2020 and 2021 tax reform protests in different parts of the country. This definitely grew my passion for social issues and the task to inform people with objectivity and truthful statements.
I currently co-host a soccer podcast called HTFC from the Hitting the Field network. Assigned beat reporter for the Orlando Valkyries.
